Time within the narrative – the timeline Pry begins with a short prologue video. In the first chapter we are instantly thrown 6years into the future but there isn’t much context of time passed after that. The chapters are out of order. Events within the chapters are out of order. We Instantly see what is assumed are flashbacks and hallucinations. Not much context is given for character relationships until most of the way through the chapters.
Each chapter in Pry is read differently due to the collaborative manner in which media such as videos, images, audio, and text are intertwined with one another. Although the chapters are numbered and ordered there is no clear indication that they actually need to be read in the order provided. There is little to no time spent learning how to read each chapter because there are clear instructions at the beginning demonstrating how. Thus making it easy to quickly dive into the details of the narrative Pry trailer video
