       This Event was one of the most massive lore events to have ever occurred to the league's world. This event occurred in July 2015 and it introduced us to a new region Bilgewater. A cutthroat town infested by criminals and cultists alike, this port city had only one law, the survival of the fittest.

       This event had four acts which introduced us to Captain Gangplank, the most powerful pirate king who had ruled over this hell hole. Along with Sarah Fortune better known to the players as Miss Fortune. She was a legendary bounty hunter who had one only goal, to bring justice to her mom by killing Gangplank himself. She did this by using the beautiful dual blunderbusses that her mother had used to put the most effort she has ever to craft for the pirate lord. Who ultimately used it to kill her mom and destroy their home as he had deemed it as a shoddy piece of work. 

        We are also introduced to Graves and Twisted Fate. These two champions had a very intense past where they had a string of many Grand Heists, but for their story turns out, you’ll just have to see the videos to learn of what went wrong and how it turned out.

        Most of all we also got to play two new game modes. The first one introduced us to the town by playing a tower defense game consisting of buying different kinds of native creatures and equipping them with various tools to destroy the enemy. The second one let us play with random champions on a place called The Butcher's Bridge

        Through this event we slowly learnt the story as various in game elements slowly started to change as we progressed through the different acts till we saw the culmination with the epilogue. This events first showed us players how even if we were forced alongside the story that the creators had put upon us there was still a way that our actions on The Butcher’s Bridge did affect where we would end up in the story. Either we lived the story as one of the pirate king Gangplank’s Supporters or believed in the ideals that Sarah Fortune had shown us with her spirit.
